Vita Malacologica

Profile

In 2001 the Foundation Biologia Maritima and the Netherlands Malacological Society (NMV) decided to integrate their activities. One of the activities of the Foundation Biologia Maritima was the publication of the journal Vita Marina. This journal is succeeded now by the journal Vita Malacologica, of which the first volume was published by the NMV in December 2002. Vita Malacologica is published once a year as a supplement to Basteria, with articles around a central theme. Vita Malacologica is published in English only and includes 16 colour pages.

Editors

The editorial staff of Vita Malacologica consists of Dr. Ph. Bouchet (editor in chief), Mr. H. Dekker en Mr. G.C. Kronenberg. The distribution is done by Mr. J. Kuiper.
