The Stibeman Fund

Veldhuis The Stibeman Fund is the "STichting tot BEhartiging van de belangen van de MMlacologie in Nederland" (Foundation to promote the interests of malacology in The Netherlands). Its aim is to further the performance of malacological science in the Netherlands. STIBEMAN can provide grants that are financed from the fortune of the foundation. The fortune of the foundation is formed by donations, subsidies, legacies, testamentary dispositions and other gifts. The fortune of the foundation is still in development. Therefore only limited subsidies can be provided.

STIBEMAN is liased to the Netherlands Malacological Society (NMV) and receives many gifts from its individual members. The Board of the foundation consists of five members, among which the chairman and the treasurer of the NMV. For more information please consult the treasurer of the NMV.
