The STIBEMAN Fund is the “STichting tot BEhartiging van de belangen van de MAlacologie in Nederland” (Foundation to promote the interests of malacology in The Netherlands). Its aim is to promote the performance of malacological science in the Netherlands. STIBEMAN can provide grants from its financial resources. These resources are formed by donations, legacies, testamentary dispositions and other gifts. The resources of the foundation are still developing. Therefore only limited grants can be provided.
STIBEMAN is closely connected to the Netherlands Malacological Society (NMV) and receives gifts from its individual members. The Board of STIBEMAN consists of five members, among which the chairman and the treasurer of the NMV. For more information please consult the treasurer of the NMV.
